An unidentified, circular object emits a conspicuous cone of energy which can catch any prey it encounters along its path. In this case, the prey is consists of metal objects it finds on the desktop in the office, like the paper clips that Spettro, equipped with a powerful magnet placed under its luminous cone, can abduct undisturbed.
